Samenvatting

Door toename van het aantal reizen de laatste jaren kunnen infectieuze ziekten zich sneller verspreiden. Iedere arts in ongeacht welk land kan nu met een exotische ziekte geconfronteerd worden. Bovendien is het mogelijk dat als gevolg van de klimaatverandering niet-endemische koortsende ziekten vaker gezien zullen worden.
