Samenvatting

Jaarlijks gaan ongeveer 1 miljoen Nederlanders op reis naar Afrika, Azië of Zuid-Amerika, het jaarlijkse aantal tropenreizigers in België wordt geschat op 900.000. Ook bij een adequate reisvoorbereiding heeft naar schatting de helft van alle reizigers te maken met gezondheidsproblemen onderweg.
