Samenvatting

De huid bestaat uit drie lagen: de epidermis aan de buitenkant, daaronder het corium (bindweefsel) en de subcutis (bind- en vetweefsel). De huid en eronderliggende spieren zijn door een fascia van elkaar gescheiden. Het inbrengen van een vloeistof door middel van naald en spuit heet intradermale (i.d) injectie wanneer de vloeistof in het corium terechtkomt; verder zijn er de subcutane (s.c.) en de intramusculaire (i.m.) injectie.
