Samenvatting

Diepe veneuze trombose en/of longembolie in de anamnese vormen een contra-indicatie voor het gebruik van hormonale anticonceptiva, die zowel progestagenen als oestrogenen bevatten (1). Bij de uitsluitend progestageen bevattende preparaten, zoals de minipil en de prikpil, wordt een doorgemaakte diepe veneuze trombose en/of longembolie niet als een contra-indicatie beschouwd (2).
