Integrated care should include work interventions and disability assessment

In the Netherlands, the National Health Council has proposed a model for an integrated approach of guideline development aimed at professionals working in both clinical and occupational and insurance settings. Medical care, counselling (e.g. in the rehabilitation process) and the assessment of (dis)ability should be integrated into one model based on the International Classification of Functioning of the WHO.
