Bij patiënten met een chronische aandoening komen ook vaak huidafwijkingen voor. Soms zijn de huidafwijkingen gerelateerd aan de chronische aandoening, soms staan ze er ook los van. In deze klinische les gaat het om twee patiënten die tijdens de diabetescontrole de dokter vragen ook nog even naar hun huid te kijken. Daarna worden de belangrijkste niet-infectieuze huidafwijkingen besproken. De relatie met diabetes mellitus (DM) komt daarbij aan de orde.
