Abstract

Parodontitis is op twee manieren geassocieerd met andere ziekten: 1) parodontitis kan optreden bij mensen bij wie de weerstand is verlaagd; 2) parodontitis is een mogelijke risicofactor bij een aantal belangrijke en veelvoorkomende ziekten.
