De complexiteit van beloningen verder belicht vanuit de Zelf-Determinatie Theorie: worden ze als controlerend of informerend ervaren?

Samenvatting

In het vorige nummer van PsychoPraktijk argumenteren Vanderplasschen en collega’s en DeFuentes-Merillas dat beloningen in de drughulpverlening effectief zijn. Ze bekritiseren onze eerste bijdrage waarin wij op basis van de Zelf-Determinatie Theorie (ZDT) stelden dat beloningen verschillende risico’s met zich mee brengen. In deze bijdrage gaan wij in op de aangedragen argumenten en lichten wij de ruimere positie van de ZDT toe.
