ADOS en ADI-R: gebruik in de klinische praktijk bij diagnostiek van ASS

Samenvatting

In de afgelopen jaren zijn de Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) en het Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) ontwikkeld met als doel de diagnostiek van autismespectrumstoornissen (ASS) te ondersteunen. Inmiddels worden deze instrumenten binnen wetenschappelijk onderzoek gezien als de ‘gouden standaard’ om een diagnose binnen het spectrum te onderbouwen. Ook in de klinische praktijk worden beide instrumenten steeds meer toegepast.
