Samenvatting

Longfalen (COPD) is een chronische aandoening die leidt tot grote gezondheidsrisico’s en sterke afname van kwaliteit van leven. De aandoening is niet te genezen maar er zijn veel interventies en behandelingen mogelijk om de ziekteprogressie minder snel te laten verlopen. Bij de behandeling van COPD biedt eHealth kansen, ook om een behandeling op maat te kunnen bieden. Interventies op basis van eHealth zullen altijd gebaseerd zijn op de pijlers van goede zorg voor COPD: voorlichting, zelfmanagement, medicamenteuze behandeling, gedragsondersteuning bij stoppen met roken, bewegen en voeding, zelf monitoren en persoonlijke aandacht.
