Carpaletunnelsyndroom

Samenvatting

De ernst van de klachten van patiënten met het carpale tunnelsyndroom (CTS) variëren van hinderlijk tot zeer invaliderend. Typische klachten bij het CTS zijn: pijn, tintelingen en een doof gevoel in het verzorgingsgebied van de nervus medianus, met name ’s nachts. Ook kan er krachtsverlies van de handspieren optreden. De klachten kunnen bilateraal voorkomen.1
