Introductie

Dit hoofdstuk gaat dieper in op de jersey finger of ruptuur van de pees van de m. flexor digitorum profundus ter plaatse van zijn insertie.

Besproken worden onder andere de anatomie van de vingers, classificatie van verschillende types rupturen, de diagnostiek, en de therapie. Verder wordt een revalidatieprogramma beschreven zoals dat kan worden toegepast na een operatieve behandeling.

Adhesie = verkleving.

Complex regionaal pijnsyndroom wordt ook wel CRPS genoemd of (voorheen) posttraumatische dystrofie.
