Samenvatting

Eetstoornissen zijn psychiatrische aandoeningen met ernstige gevolgen voor het lichamelijk en psychosociaal functioneren. Eetstoornissen komen voornamelijk voor bij meisjes in de adolescentieleeftijd en bij jonge vrouwen. De twee bekendste eetstoornissen zijn anorexia nervosa en boulimia nervosa.
