20 Influenza

Samenvatting

Influenza (’griep’) is een acute luchtweginfectie, veroorzaakt door een influenzavirus. De infectie komt in Nederland vooral in koude jaargetijden voor.Verreweg de meeste patiënten herstellen binnen twee tot drie weken, maar de infectie kan gepaard gaan met ernstig complicaties en kan soms fataal verlopen.
