Abstract

In dit hoofdstuk worden de risicofactoren voor het ontstaan van hart- en vaatziekten besproken, die door leefstijl en dieetinterventie te beïnvloeden zijn en wordt ingegaan op de dieetbehandeling bij hartfalen. Uitgangspunt voor de leefstijladviezen en de dieetbehandeling bij (ischemische) hart- en vaatziekten zijn de Richtlijnen Goede Voeding, die zijn opgesteld door de Gezondheidsraad in 2006.
