Samenvatting

Patiënten met leverziekten hebben een verhoogde kans op levensbedreigende complicaties rondom een chirurgische ingreep. De hoogte van het perioperatieve risico hangt van veel factoren af, en het onderkennen hiervan is van groot belang. Hoe hoog het risico precies is voor een individuele patiënt blijft moeilijk te voorspellen.
