Samenvatting

John en Jonathan, grootvader en kleinzoon, hebben veel met elkaar gemeen. Dezelfde hobby (schelpen), dezelfde interesses (natuurbeheer) en dezelfde ziekte (diabetes). Het voorbije jaar was speciaal: John, net 60, beëindigde zijn loopbaan en is nu met pensioen; Jonathan, net 12, beëindigde de basisschool.
