Samenvatting

De elleboog wordt vaak als scharniergewricht omschreven. Dit is echter niet correct, want naast flexie en extensie is er rotatie van de ulna mogelijk ten opzichte van de humerus. Verder is er ook in varus- en valgusrichting enige beweging mogelijk.
