Computergebaseerd ontwennen van de beademing via SmartCare

Abstract

Het ontwennen van de mechanische beademing (weanen) is een van de meest uitdagende problemen binnen de ic en zorgt voor een aanzienlijke werkdruk voor het medisch en verplegend personeel.1 Op de ic van de Reinier de Graaf Groep in Delft proberen we de ontwenningsduur te bekorten door gebruik te maken van SmartCare, een voor de Evita XL ontwikkeld en wetenschappelijk onderbouwd kennissysteem op het gebied van weanen.
