Samenvatting

Onlangs is een nieuw pijnstillend middel op de markt verschenen: buprenorfine (BPF). Nieuw? BPF wordt al veertig jaar gemaakt. Tot nu toe was BPF echter uitsluitend beschikbaar als sublinguaal tablet en het werd in deze toedieningsvorm niet veel gebruikt. Sinds kort is het middel beschikbaar als pleister en in deze toedieningsvorm zou BBF wel eens vaker toegepast kunnen worden.
