Samenvatting

Seborroïsch eczeem, ook wel seborroïsche dermatitis genoemd, is een chronische, recidiverende huidaandoening, gekenmerkt door erytheem met vettige, gelige schilfering of korsten op plaatsen waar zich actieve talgklieren bevinden. Naast de hoofdhuid zijn de voorkeursplaatsen bij kinderen: de nasolabiale plooien, andere lichaamsplooien, de wenkbrauwen, de wimpers, de gehoorschelpen en -gangen, retroauriculair, presternaal en interscapulair.
