Samenvatting

Depressie is onder ouderen de meest voorkomende psychische stoornis met dikwijls een chronisch of recidiverend beloop.2 Het gaat gepaard met lichamelijke en functionele beperkingen, een verhoogde zorg-consumptie en zelfs met verhoogde sterfte.3 Het ligt dus voor de hand bij de behandeling uit te gaan van een model voor chronische aandoeningen.
