Samenvatting

In 1962 werd de term ‘tarsaletunnelsyndroom’ voor het eerst geïntroduceerd, toen zich een patiënt meldde met een verdoofd gevoel in het sensibele distributiegebied van de n.

Een goedaardig gezwel van vetweefselcellen (vetbult).

Gezwel dat uitgaat van de dunne schede die de zenuwvezels omgeeft (schwannoom).

Verminderde schildklierwerking.

De term knikplatvoet wordt gebruikt als er, naast doorzakking van het lengtegewelf, ook sprake is van een valgusstand van de calcaneus.
