Samenvatting

Orthostatische hypotensie kan worden gedefinieerd als een abnormale daling van de bloeddruk in staande houding. Het betreft een daling van de systolische bloeddruk met meer dan 20 mmHg en/of een daling van de diastolische bloeddruk met meer dan 10 mmHg, binnen 3 minuten na het aannemen van een staande houding.1
