Samenvatting

Een eksteroog, ook wel likdoorn of clavus genoemd, is een lokale hyperkeratose met een bijzondere vorm: een scherp begrensde en wigvormige eeltplek in de voetzool met een diameter van enkele millimeters, gelegen boven en tegen het bot, onder de oppervlakte van de huid gedrukt en soms ontstoken.
