Samenvatting

Oppervlakkige tromboflebitis, ook wel superficiële veneuze trombose (SVT) genoemd, is een lokale, door een trombus veroorzaakte, niet-infectieuze ontsteking van een oppervlakkige, meestal variceuze vene.1,2
