Samenvatting

Apexitis patellae is een overbelastingsblessure van het strekapparaat van de knie, in de literatuur ook wel jumper’s knee, ‘springersknie’ of infrapatellaire insertietendinopathie genoemd. Dit letsel wordt vooral gezien bij sporten waarbij veel gesprongen wordt: basketbal, korfbal, handbal, volleybal, squash en atletiek (vooral verspringen en hoogspringen).1,2
