Klinimetrische toepassingen bij de ziekte van Parkinson

Samenvatting

Om de problemen van patiïnten te inventariseren en het effect van fysiotherapeutische behandeling adequaat te evalueren, is het cruciaal betrouwbare en valide meetinstrumenten te gebruiken. In dit hoofdstuk wordt een probleemgerichte aanpak beschreven van het gebruik van meetinstrumenten voor de inventarisatie en evaluatie van functionele mobiliteitsbeperkingen bij een patiënt met de ziekte van Parkinson. In het licht van de klinimetrische eigenschappen en de praktische toepasbaarheid van enkele tests wordt de meerwaarde van meten als toevoeging aan het klinisch onderzoek onder de aandacht gebracht.
