Einleitung

Die photodynamische Therapie (PDT) ist ein endoskopisches Behandlungsverfahren, das in den letzten 20 Jahren in spezialisierten Zentren zunehmend zur kurativen Therapie des oberflächlich wachsenden Bronchialkarzinoms eingesetzt wird. Sie basiert auf der Anwendung einer tumoraffinen Substanz, die durch Licht einer spezifischen Wellenlänge aktiviert wird [[1]]. Die dadurch ausgelöste photooxidative Reaktion führt zum Zelltod durch Gefäßverschlüsse mit Hypoxie und sekundärer Tumornekrose, während normales Gewebe nicht oder nur geringfügig reagiert [[1], [2]].
