EFSUMB 50th years anniversary: a call for participation and support
February 11, 2022, marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB). Our next EUROSON Congress from 25–28 May 2022 in Timisoara, jointly organised with World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) and the Romanian Ultrasound Society, will provide the opportunity to celebrate the 50 years success story of the European Ultrasound Family. Reflecting on our own roots can open the horizons to how today’s problems can be more easily overcome. Pride in the achievements of ultrasound pioneers, organizers of milestone congresses of EFSUMB and its national member societies, and the developers of new ultrasound technologies should stimulate us to develop new ideas for the future of ultrasound.
