Appreciating the best

It is sometimes hard to find a format for sharing best practice that doesn’t begin with a criticism of current practice. Reflections on incidents and audits of known problem areas are good ways to identify improvements but it is refreshing to see more reports coming through that focus on what works well. One of the best examples of this format was a report in 2004 called Appreciating the Best which identified examples of best multi-agency working practice in Cumbria and Lancashire.
