A look behind the scenes of virtual reality applications

Published:01 July 1996Publication History

ABSTRACT

This paper concentrates on the applicability of virtual reality (VR) technology to science and engineering research. To that end, a look into the effort required to develop effective applications emphasizing software design issues is presented. The applicability and use of these issues is covered for their implementation on the CAVE virtual reality system.
