5. Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT): anders denken is anders voelen en doen

Abstract

Zoals de naam aangeeft richten de cognitief-gedragsmatige benaderingen zich op het veranderen van disfunctioneel denken en gedrag. rebt is daar een bekende vertegenwoordiger van. In dit hoofdstuk wordt uitgewerkt hoe men vanuit rebt tegen disfunctionele emoties en gedragingen aankijkt en wat de centrale rol van het denken daarin is. Daarna wordt stap voor stap de rebt-methodiek toegelicht. Nu wordt eerst het ontstaan van rebt toegelicht.
