Samenvatting

O-benen (genua vara) en X-benen (genua valga) zijn standafwijkingen van de knie in het frontale vlak. Deze standafwijkingen worden vaak gezien in bepaalde leeftijdscategorieën en zijn meestal fysiologisch. Uiteindelijk vindt in de meeste gevallen een spontane ontwikkeling naar een rechte stand plaats. Pathologische standsafwijkingen van de knie zijn zeldzaam.
