Wie zorgt er voor de mantelzorger?

Samenvatting

Mantelzorg is niet meer weg te denken in de Nederlands samenleving. Aan het verlenen van mantelzorg zitten zowel voor- als nadelen. Een groot risico is overbelasting van de mantelzorger. In dit artikel worden de consequenties van het verlenen van mantelzorg besproken en aan de hand van de Mantelzorg Schijf van vijf wordt een instrument voor ondersteuning aangeboden.
