Over oogafwijkingen bij herpes zoster

Samenvatting

In leerboeken wordt geadviseerd bij patiënten met gordelroos in het gelaat te letten op de aanwezigheid van blaasjes op de neuspunt.1 Deze blaasjes zouden erop wijzen dat ook het oog bij de ontsteking betrokken is. Wij bespreken echter twee patiënten die een ernstige infectie van het oog ontwikkelden zonder huidafwijkingen op de neuspunt.
