Samenvatting

Wervelimmobilisatie blijkt een lastig punt: wanneer moet je het nu wel toepassen en wanneer niet? Een ambulanceverpleegkundige kan besluiten op basis van zijn protocol om niet te immobiliseren terwijl de arts in het ziekenhuis dat vervolgens wel wil. In dit artikel wordt de zin en onzin van wervelimmobilisatie beschreven.
