Samenvatting

Trombocytose wordt gedefinieerd als de aanwezigheid van een abnormaal hoog aantal trombocyten (>500 x 10⁹/l) in het circulerende bloed. Trombocytose kan meerdere oorzaken hebben, waarbij het volgende onderscheid dient te worden gemaakt:
