Abstract

In dit hoofdstuk wordt ingegaan op acute en chronische pancreatitis en het pancreascarcinoom. De epidemiologie, etiologie, klinische verschijnselen en diagnostiek, prognose en complicaties, medische behandeling en vanzelfsprekend het voedingsbeleid worden hierin besproken.

Het voedingsbeleid bij pancreatitis en pancreascarcinoom is de laatste jaren aan veel veranderingen onderhevig geweest. Er vindt nog steeds onderzoek plaats om te komen tot een beter evidence based voedingsadvies. In dit hoofdstuk wordt uitgegaan van de meest recente publicaties.
