Samenvatting

Vitiligo is een huidaandoening waarbij de diagnostiek gemakkelijk, maar de behandeling lastig is. Bij 0,5-1% van de bevolking ontstaat vitiligo, ongeacht geslacht of ras.1,2 Vitiligo kan op elke leeftijd ontstaan, maar de beginleeftijd is meestal tussen de 10 en de 20 jaar.
