Vektis ’Informatiecentrum voor de zorg’

Vektis is the health care information centre, established by health care insurers. Vektis collects and analyses data on the costs and quality of health care in the Netherlands. Apart from declaration data from healthcare insurers a number of other parties deliver data, such as DBC Onderhoud (the Dutch casemix system for financing health care), Zichtbare Zorg (providing insight into the quality of care), Stichting Miletus (an insurers collaboration monitoring patient experiences and quality of care). Based upon current and comprehensive data bases Vektis provides aggregated information enabling health care providers, insurers, policy makers to optimize the quality, access and affordability of health care in the Netherlands.
