8. Urticaria en angio-oedeem

Samenvatting

Urticaria (ook wel galbulten of netelroos genoemd) zijn hemisferische of plateauvormige, jeukende, erythemateuze oedeempapels die komen en gaan, wisselen in vorm en grootte, scherp begrensd zijn en centraal een bleke kleur tonen. Het oedeem is gelokaliseerd in de dermis. Men spreekt van angio-oedeem wanneer er sprake is van matig begrensde, diffuse, erythemateuze zwellingen van de huid, waarbij het oedeem gelokaliseerd is in de diepe dermis en subcutis of in de slijmvliezen. Urticaria en angio-oedeem kunnen tegelijk voorkomen.
