Ervaringen met het implementeren van de Safe Sex Comedy Show

Abstract

The Safe Sex Comedy Show provides a full evening of entertainment comprising acts about sexual behaviour and teenage pregnancy targeted through a variety of modes of communication including rap, comedy, song, and the spoken word. This show is based on the E&E-strategy and aims to raise attention and awareness around sexual behaviour. The show focuses on young people in the Urban Lifestyle Scene; sexual risk behaviour among this target group is relatively high, whereas more traditional prevention programs targeting these young people are often unsuccessful. This article describes the process of implementation of this intervention.
