In 2005 the NVAB presented the Standpoint Claim Assessment. Since that time the NVAB uses this Standpoint, in the discussions with employers, employees and government as if it were dogma, an immutable doctrine. We consider this to be an undesirable situation. The Standpoint Claim Assessment is due for a revision or for withdrawal. In this article we will first show why it should be revised or withdrawn. Then we will look back towards the origin of this Standpoint. Where did it come from?
