Samenvatting

Voetbal is een sport waarbij het lichaam fors wordt belast. Bij hoge belasting van het lichaam kunnen twee dingen gebeuren: het lichaam past zich aan en wordt sterker, of er ontstaan blessures omdat de belastbaarheid van het lichaam te laag is. Dit hoofdstuk gaat dieper in op deze materie. Besproken worden spierpijn, peespijn en botpijn door surmenage (overbelasting).
