Samenvatting

Supervisie vormt een belangrijk onderdeel van de opleiding van elke toekomstige ggz-hulpverlener. Supervisie heeft zich de afgelopen decennia ontwikkeld van een meester-gezel-model, gebaseerd op het inhoudelijke vakmanschap van de supervisor, tot een eigen professie waaraan specifieke eisen worden gesteld. De vele publicaties over supervisiemodellen, supervisietaken, supervisiemethodieken en competenties van de supervisor en het toenemende onderzoek getuigen hiervan. Deze ontwikkeling en de nieuwe visie op supervisie die hiermee samengaat, met name competentiegebaseerde supervisie, worden kort geschetst. Daarnaast worden de plaats en betekenis van supervisie gesitueerd binnen de ggz-opleidingen in Nederland en Vlaanderen. Naast de wettelijke regeling van de ggz-beroepen komen de verschillende onderdelen van de opleidingen aan de orde en wordt supervisie afgebakend van andere opleidingsonderdelen en begeleidingsvormen.
