Succesvolle osteosynthese bij een jonge patiënt met een dorsaal gedislokeerde fractuur van het collum femoris

Samenvatting

Een dorsaal gedislokeerde fractuur van het collum femoris bij een jongvolwassene is zeldzaam en de afweging tussen een kopsparende behandeling en een totale heupvervanging is complex. In de literatuur is er geen consensus over de beste behandeling. Wij beschrijven een casus van een 29-jarige jongeman met een dorsaal gedislokeerde fractuur van het collum femoris, die succesvol chirurgisch behandeld is met open repositie en interne fixatie.
