samenvatting

Meer dan 80% van de meisjes die vanwege forse gedragsproblemen zijn opgenomen in een gesloten jeugdzorginstelling heeft een verleden dat wordt gekenmerkt door chronische traumatisering. Naast deze gedragsproblemen is vaak sprake van veel comorbiditeit. In Nederland blijken geen interventies te bestaan die specifiek zijn gericht op het problematische gedrag dat gerelateerd is aan chronische traumatisering, of deze interventies blijken onvoldoende effect te hebben. Dit artikel beschrijft – aan de hand van casuïstiek – de theoretische achtergrond en de opzet van een recentelijk ontwikkelde training gericht op vermindering van het problematische gedrag van deze kwetsbare doelgroep.
