Samenvatting

Simvastatine is de eerste cholesterolsyntheseremmer ofwel HMG-CoA (3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-co-enzym A) reductaseremmer, kortweg statine, die in 1988 internationaal in de handel is gebracht.
