Abstract

Tijdens zijn verblijf van een jaar in een TBS-kliniek maakt Bas zich kenbaar als Munchausenpatiënt. Deze onthulling, die het mogelijk maakt zijn problematische gedrag in de TBS-kliniek beter te begrijpen, voorkomt dat hij naar een niet-justitiële GGZ-voorziening wordt overgeplaatst. Dit artikel schetst de ervaringen in de TBS-kliniek, gaat in op de (structurele) diagnostiek van de casus en geeft aan hoe het klinische behandelproces leidde tot een betrouwbaar resocialisatietraject.
